Hillside Beach Club vacation -- Turkey August 2006
We had a wonderful time at the Hillside Beach Club. It's a fabulous place -- not only is it physically beautiful, it has great facilities and wonderful service. We highly recommend it, especially for families.
Our first discovery was Ali's love of peaches:
We also discovered how much he loves the water. The calm waters of the Mediterranean sea let us spend hours in the water. Watch how much he loves splashing the water...
One day, he was so relaxed on the water in his little float that he even fell asleep!
During the hot hours of the day, we would spend the time under the shade. In this video, Ali is amused by how his sipping bottle keeps falling down. Also, you get a chance to see the bay in which the Hillside Club is located.
A momentous event of this vacation was Ali's falling in love with a lady named Ela...
One afternoon we were invited to a music class, where Ali learned the Calypso beat of "Go, Ba-na-na! Go, Ba-na-na!". Check out his his skills on the drums:
His performance in class was so good, that he was invited to be in the kid's show on Saturday night:-) The name of the performance is "Shake Le Bubu" and is based on the Calypso drum beats we learned in class. Of course, he needed some help from his father (with matching costume). Unfortunately, our performance was late at night and Ali was very sleepy, so he wasn't really paying attention. He was supposed to close the show with a loud "agooooo!" and a wave of the hand, but he was more interested in getting to bed:
